Under MLA formatting, the intro, bodies, and conclusion are all indented 1/2 inch at the start of the paragraph. If you’re quoting a large block of text, then the whole block of text is flushed left (you’re most likely not gonna use this, just look it up if you are). For the works cited page, use hanging indents…which is just the opposite of an indent (first line is not indented, following lines are flushed 1/2 inch).
